Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Vice President Boediono opened the 35th convention and exhibition of the Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Wednesday.

The occasion was also attended by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Darwin Zahedy Saleh, IPA President Ron Aston, foreign ambassadors and stakeholders.

Earlier IPA President Ron Aston said more than 150 local and international companies will be taking part in the convention and exhibition this time which will be held from May 18 to 20 May and themed "Indonesia Energy: Growth, Security, and Sustainability".

IPA Convention and Exhibition chairman Vincent Soetedja said the convention will have four sessions with government officials, senior executives, consultants, and experts taking part.

In the meantime, the IPA expo will present various products, services, most effective solutions, latest technology and innovations, contractors and professional organizations.
