Damascus (ANTARA News/SANA) - In appreciation for their sacrifices for the sake of Syria`s security and stability, a delegation from Damascus University and the Teachers Union at the University on Thursday paid a visit to injured army and security personnel in Tishreen Military Hospital.

The delegation members presented flowers to the soldiers and policemen injured at the hands of extremist terrorist groups.

In statements to SANA, Head of the Sub-Office of Teachers Union at the University, Ahmad al-Mandili said that those injured, , by their bodies, pay the price of stability of Syria, defend its dignity and confront the plot aiming at undermining its steadfast positions.

For his part Vice-Rector of Damascus University for Scientific Research, Dr. Rakan Razzouk expressed pride over the sacrifices of the army to thwart attempts of destabilizing Syria, affecting its steadfastness and creating chaos through the conspiracies which have been exposed to every person.
