Makassar, S Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - The Canadian government will provide 10 million Canadian dollars for the South Sulawesi government to support efforts to eradicate corruption in the province, a spokesman said.

"The funds will be provided to support corruption eradication efforts in this province," Pietra Widiadi, project officer of the Support to Indonesia`s Islands of Integrity Program (SIPS), said here on Thursday.

He said that the assistance would be used to increase the capacity of regional government`s capacity in preventing corruption. "This assistance is part of the SIPS for Sulawesi," he said.(*)
