Solo, Central Java (ANTARA News) - The newly elected Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) general chairman Johar Arifin Hussein said he would prioritize preparations for the national team to the SEA Games in his first 100 day in office program.

He said he would do it due to a lot of pressures from football fans in the country who wish the national team could make an achievement.

"That is the demand from the people who are hungry of achievements from the country`s national team," he said on the sidelines of the PSSI extraordinary congress here on Saturday.

In view of that he said he would strive hard to prepare the team that would be fielded in the Souteast Asian Games (SEA Games).

"Only the best will be recruited so that they would present the best acheivement," he said.

The PSSI extraordinary congress on Saturday also elected Farid Rahman as the PSSI vice general chairman and nine executive committee members for 2011-2015 period.

The elected nine executive committee members are Tury Dau, Mawardi Nurdin, Widodo Santoso, La Nyala Mattalitti, Sihar Sitorus, Bob Hippi, Roberto Rou, Erwin Dwi Budiawan and Tony Apriliani.

The congress was also attended by representives of FIFA, AFCs and AFF as well as sports minister Andi Mallarangeng and the general chairperson of the Indonesia National Olympic Committee (KONI) andthe Indonesia Sports Committee (KOI), Rita Subowo. (*)
