Pelabuhanratu, West Java (ANTARA News) - Two tourists from Bogor, West Java, namely Anggi bin Malik (14), a student, and his uncle Toni bin Sugandi (25), were killed in a strong current in Pelabuhanratu.

ANTARA News learnt from reliable sources that the two victims were members of a 50 member religious study group sitting on rocks in Karut coast, Cikakak sub-district.

But Anggi who has not received an order to go swimming in the sea were dragged by the strong current as far as 10 meters away from the rocks. His uncle tried to save the boy appeared not to be strong enough to face the strong current, and eventually also drowned.

"The accidents took place at 1.30 pm. The boy`s dead body had already been brought up, but Toni was still missing," head of the Sukabumi search and rescue Okih Fajri Assidiqie said on Sunday.

The search for the still missing man was continued, and will be further carried out the following day, Monday, Okih said.
