According to information from South Sumatra province`s Public Relations Bureau, President Yudhoyono on Thursday afternoon will visit the Gelora Sriwijaya Jakabaring stadium which is the main venue for the SEA Games.
At night, the president will attend a gala dinner at Griya Agung Palembang and inaugurate the coordination meeting of Sumatra governors.
The governors` meeting will also be participated in by Home Affairs Minister Gamawan fauzi, Chief of National Development Planning Agency Armida Alisjahbana, Transportation Minister Freddy Numberi, Minister for Women`s Empowerment and Child Protection Linda Gumelar, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Darwin Zahedy Saleh, Public Works Minister Djoko Kirmanto and Chairman of Investment Coordinating Board Gita Wirjawan.
Also attending the meeting are Singapore`s Minister for Trade and Industry, chief of Regional Representatives Council (DPRD) from provinces in Sumatra.
