Bangkok (ANTARANews) - The latest poll showed on Sunday that new Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra was the most satisfying among all cabinet members.

Suan Dusit poll revealed that 73 percent of the respondents are content with the country`s first female premier, followed by Defence Minister General Yutthasak Sasiprapa with 71.9 percent and Justice Minister Pol Gen Pracha Promnok with 70.1 percent.

The poll was conducted on 1,996 people from all walks of life across the country on August 10-13.

Asked which position is the most disappointing, Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul ranked the first with 51.9 percent as he has been criticized for lacking experience in foreign affairs.

Meanwhile, Abac Poll carried out on 2,412 people in 18 provinces including capital city of Bangkok showed that Yingluck was the most acceptable cabinet member with 79.9 percent approval rate.

Comparing Yingluck with her elder brother and ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra in terms of popularity, 44.9 percent of the respondents support Yingluck while 23.8 percent of them back Thaksin, and 31.3 percent have no comment.

Yingluck and her cabinet were sworn in on August 11 after her Pheu Thai party won 265 seats in the 500-seat lower house of parliament on July 3. She will deliver policy statement to the parliament on Aug. 24.
