Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and First Lady Any Yudhoyono plan to hold an open house on the occasion of the Islamic post-fasting holiday of Idul Fitri at the state palace, presidential spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha said.

He said to ANTARA News here on Saturday the date of the event however still had yet to be determined later after the ministry of religious affairs issued a decision on the exact date of the fall of Idul Fitri.

"The President and the First Lady would like to meet with the public at an open house at the state palace on Idul Fitri," Julian said.

He said "the President did not as yet set the date for it pending the official announcement from the government or the minister of religious affairs regarding the exact date of Idul Fitri."

Julian said the open house would later be held from 3pm to 5pm, adding that the event has always been held every year so far.
