First of all, I wish to extend happy birthday greetings to the President,"Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Director of Toyota Motor Corp Akio Toyoda has extended birthday greetings to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
Toyoda extended the greetings when he made a courtesy call on President Yudhoyono at his Office here on Tuesday afternoon.
"First of all, I wish to extend happy birthday greetings to the President," Toyoda said through an interpreter.
President Yudhoyono who celebrated his 62nd birthday on September 9, 2011, expressed his gratitude over the happy birthday greeting.
On his birthday, the president received over 900 birthday greetings from various quarters in society through his and his wife`s cellular phones, including those from the State Palace staffers.
Besides the 900 SMS text messages, the president also received at least 250 greetings from presidential staffers and adjutants through phone calls.
During his meeting with the Head of State, the Toyota president director expressed his firm`s plan to make a business expansion in Indonesia.
The Toyota intention was hailed by the president who during the occasion was accompanied by Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam, Chief Economic Minister Hatta Radjasa and Industry Minister MS Hidayat.(*)
