Banda Aceh, Aceh Darussalam (ANTARA News) - A Casa plane of PT Nusantara Buana Air (NBA) flying from Polonia Airport in Medan, North Sumatra, to Southeast Aceh, crashed in Bahorok area, Langkat District, North Sumatra Province, Thursday.

The plane with 14 passengers, a pilot, co-pilot and two technicians on board, should have been landed in Alas Leuser airport, Southeast Aceh, at 8 am local time, Basri, the head of the Southeast Aceh District Air Transportation office, said.

"The NBA plane left Polonia Airport, Medan, at around 7.30 am local time, and was supposed to arrive in Alas Leuser Airport at 8 am local time. But, until now we have lost contact," Basri said.

According to information, the plane crashed in Mt Kapur area, Bahorok District, he said.

The ill-fated plane was piloted by Kamal, with co-pilot Budiono, and two technicians, respectively Nico M and Foo Sutopo.

The passengers consist of 10 adults, two children and two babies.
