Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State Enterprises Minister Mustafa Abubakar said he was ready to work again as his doctor at Singapore National University Hospital had told him his health was improving.

"I feel I am getting well after receiving medical treatment for six weeks in Singapore. But I am required to have a health check again in Singapore in the middle of October," the minister told the press at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Wednesday.

Mustafa did not say when exactly he would come to his office again to work at the State Enterprises Ministry at Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatatn, Jakarta.

He said he still needed time to (take a rest) to fully recover and regain his normal state of health.

"On the sidelines (while taking a rest) I have to report to the president, the vice president and the coordinating minister for economic affairs. From their directives I will see how I will begin to resume my duties," the minister said.

He said President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono had assigned Chief Economic Minister Hatta Rajasa as interim state enterprises minister during his absence.

Thus, all of the work flow and decision making could proceed smoothly without constraints, he said.

"I also regularly received reports from my deputies that so far there have been no constraints," the minister said.(*)
