"There was no significant flight delay. (A flight delay) lasted only a few minutes as airport officers had to regather would-be passengers who had rushed outdoors in panic," the airport`s general manager, Purwanto said.
He said the quake caused minor damage to a number of facilities at the airport.
"Admittedly, some of our main facilities were damaged. But we immediately repaired them so they can go into service now," he said.
The damage was found on a number of ceilings, windows and doors, he said.
In addition, a number of would-be passengers sustained light injuries after they slipped and fell on the ground, he said.
The quake which rocked Bali on Thursday afternoon was centered 143 km southwest of Dua Dua, Bali, at a depth of 10 km.
But the temblor did not have the potential to cause a tsunami.
The office of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) in Bali recorded a total of 10 aftershocks by Thursday evening.
At least 46 people have been taken to Sanglah Hospital in Bali following the quake.(*)
