Cannes, France (ANTARA News) - Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to have a bilateral meeting with his Mexican counterpart, Felipe Calderon, on the sidelines of G-20 Summit in Cannes, France, on Thursday.

Coordinating Minister for Economy Hatta Rajasa who accompanied President Yudhoyono said the bilateral meeting would be conducted at 9 am local time or 3 pm Indonesian time on Thursday as part of the president`s working visit to attend the G-20 Summit.

"President Yudhoyono will have a bilateral meeting with his Mexican counterpart at 9 on Thursday morning before attending the first session of the G-20 Summit," Hatta said.

But he made no mention the agenda of the bilateral meeting between President Yudhoyono and President Calderon.

Hatta said the G-20 Summit would be opened by the host country`s President Nicolas Sarkozy of France at 12.30 pm local time, and followed by a working lunch for the first session to discuss global economic condition, plan for economic recovery, job creation, trade, and global governance.

He added that at the first session President Yudhoyono would take an initiative to speak on global economic condition and efforts to create job opportunities.

President Yudhoyono and his entourage arrived in Cannes from Paris at 6.30 on Tuesday evening.

Soon after arriving in Cannes the president immediately chaired a meeting with the ministers who accompanied him to finalize the concept that would be taken to the G-20 Summit.

The presidential entourage included Hatta Rajasa, Finance Minister Agus Martowardoyo, Tourism and Creative Economic Minister Mari Elka Pangestu, and Deputy Fiance Minister Mahendra Siregar.(*)
