The minister during a transit at Polonia airport here on Wednesday on his way to observe the Kualanamu airport in Deli Serdang district said that the construction of Kualanamu airport has reached 80 percent.
In addition to observe the Kualanamu airport, minister Mangindaan who was accompanied by former minister for the state administrative reform TB Silalahi also visited the Silangit airport in Tapanuli Utara distict, North Sumatra.
Meanwhile, the North Sumatra provincial government previously offered to build a toll road from Kualanamu to Tebing Tinggi to Hungary government.
North Sumatra acting governor Gatot Pujo Nugroho made the offer when Hungarian ambassador to Indonesia Szilvester Bus visited Medan recently. (*)
