Islamabad (ANTARA News/IRNA-OANA) - Two people were killed in an explosion in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province on Monday, officials said.

Twelve others including three policemen were injured in the blast in Dera Murad Jamali area.

Police said the bomb was attached to a motorcycle and was detonated through a remote control device. The bomb exploded when a police van was passing through the area, witnesses said.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted injured to nearby hospitals. Several injured were registered critical.
