Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) in the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) on Wednesday morning opened lower while Rupiah exchange rate strengthens against the US dollars.

Rupiah`s exchange rate in the Jakarta`s interbank transaction on Wednesday market opening rose five points to Rp9,030 from the previous day`s closing on Rp9,035 per US dollars.

CSPI index was opened lower 7.42 points or 0.19 percent to 3,995.53 position, while the 45 leading shares (LQ45) weakened 1.89 points or 0.27 percent to 694.54 position. (*)
