Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received credentials from 15 ambassadors and envoys in a ceremony at Merdeka Palace here on Friday.

Each ambassador, based in Indonesia and neighbor countries, was received by President Yudhoyono at Merdeka Palace at 10 am on Wednesday.

The ambassadors to Indonesia who presented their credentials to President Yudhoyono were from France, Bertrand Lortholary who is based in Indonesia; the People`s Republic of China, Liu Jianchao who is based in Indonesia; the Republic of Maldives, Mohamad Zaki who is based in Malaysia; the Republic of Namibia, Gebhard Benjamin Kandanga who is based in Malaysia; Tanzania, Abdul Cisco Omari Mtiro who is based in Malaysia; Liberia, Youngor Sevalee Telewoda who is based in Japan; Ghana, Daniel Kwasi Abodakpi who is based in Malaysia; Lesotho, Ntsebe Idlett Kokome who is based in Malaysia; Iceland, Stevan Larus Steffansson who is based in Jepang; Ireland, Joseph Hayes who is based in Singapore; Kazakhstan, Beibut Atamkulov who is based in Malaysia; Kenya, Samori Ang`wa Okwiya who is based in Malaysia; Armenia, Ara Hakobyan who is based in India; Luxembourg, March Thill who is based in Thailand; and Mali, Ousmane Tandia who is based in India.

The ceremony concluded with the chanting of the Indonesian anthem, Indonesia Raya. (*)
