Tasikmalaya, West Java (ANTARA News) - Seven people died after the Pasundan train rammed into a mini van at Cibeureum sub-district in West Java provincial city of Tasikmalaya on Sunday at 09.35 am local time.

The Cibeureum sub-district police chief, Adjunct Commissioner, Sabari Bambang confirmed here on Sunday that seven people in the ill-fated mini van died, while seven others sustained serious injuries.

All victims have been evacuated to Tasikmalaya general hospital, the police said.

Antara learned that the train rammed into the mini van and dragged it for three meters away when the latter was passing by a railway crossings.

There was no immediate report about identification of all victims.
