Seoul (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Mrs Ani Yudhoyono and entourage arrived in South Korea on Sunday afternoon.

Yudhoyono, who arrived at 6.0 pm local time or 4.0 pm Western Indonesia Standar Time (WIB), was directly driven to his hotel. He was in Seoul to attend a 2nd summit on nuclear security.

Special Presidential Staff for International Affairs Teuku Faizasyah said the president would deliver a speech on issues relating to the summit, among others, Nuclear Security-Safety Interface and National Measures and International Cooperation to Enhance Nuclear Security including Future commitment.

The head of state will also pay a state visit on March 28-29 in that country. He is scheduled to meet with President Lee Myung-bak and South Korean business people.

"President Yudhoyono and President Lee will also witness the signing of two memorandums of understanding on Comprehensive Energy Cooperation and on Transportation," Teuku said.

President Yudhoyono, Mrs Ani Yudhoyono and entourage will return to Indonesia on Thursday, March 29, 2012. (*)
