Padang, W Sumatra, March (ANTARA News) - West Sumatra Police have uncovered eight cases of fuel oil hoarding in West Sumatra, West Sumatra Regional Police Spokesman Adjunct Senior Commissioner Mainar Sugainto announced here on Saturday.

Further, he said police had taken into custody 18 suspects who were owners of the fuel oil and the drivers of trucks transporting the hoarded fuel.

The cases were uncovered in the Agem district, Kota Pariaman, Solok district, Sijunjung district, Pasaman Barat, Tanah Datar and Payah Kumbuh.

"The types of fuel oil which were hoarded are premium gasoline and diesel oil," he said.
