Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will soon grill former Bank Indonesia senior deputy governor Miranda S Goeltom as a suspect in a travelers` check bribery case in connection with her election to the post in 2004.

"Based on the information I received from the investigation director, Miranda Goeltom will be questioned as a suspect," KPK spokesman Johan Budi said here on Monday.

The anti-graft body has served a summons on Miranda and she will be questioned on Friday (June 1), he said.

"I do not know whether Miranda Goeltom will be detained after being questioned," he said.

Earlier, the KPK said it had found two pieces of evidence enough to name Miranda as a suspect in the case which has sent Nunun Nurbaeti to two-and-a-half years in prison for bribing dozens of lawmakers to vote for Miranda as the central bank`s senior deputy governor in 2004.
