... I hope we can meet at the World Cup someday...
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas hoped his national team could meet the Indonesian national football team at the World Cup.

"The match this evening was quite good. Indonesian football players played bravely. I hope we can meet at the World Cup someday," said Fabregas after playing the friendship match between Indonesia Selection Team and Cesc Fabregas and Friends Team at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium here on Thursday.

Fabeegas played in a team with foreign players in the Indonesia League. The final score of the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Fabregas played an important role when Ilija Spasojevic scored a goal in the first 15 minutes of the first half.

The Barca mildfielder also expressed his joy at visiting Jakarta for the second time.

"I don`t have much time to go around Jakarta. But from what I see, I think I love Indonesian people who love their football," he said.

During a press conference with Indonesian journalists, Fabregas stated that he would play for Barcelona forever, contrary to rumours saying he would move to Arsenal.

"I can predict nothing and I never thought to leave Barca. My focus is just how to face every season and play the best. I would like to play for Barcelona, but I can't guarantee 100 percent that it will happen. In football, there is nothing you can predict," he added.
