"So far we have no problems, but we will evaluate it next week at a coordination meeting on economic affairs," Agriculture minister Suswono said.
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The government will hold a meeting next week to discuss and evaluate the availability of food stocks in light of the fasting month that will begin on July 20-21.

"The evaluation of food stocks will be done by the coordinating ministers," Agriculture minister Suswono said at the Presidential State Palace here on Tuesday.

"So far we have no problems, but we will evaluate it next week at a coordination meeting on economic affairs," he added.

The government will evaluate the availability of three commodities - rice, meat (beef and chicken) and sugar.

Earlier, Acting Director General for Agricultural Product Processing and Marketing Banun Harpini said there was no need for Indonesian people to worry about the availability of food stocks during the fasting month and Lebaran.(*)
