We will be honoured
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The English Premier League`s Arsenal Football Club (FC) will visit Indonesia, as part of its pre-season world tour, from July 13 to 14, 2013.

"The team members of Arsenal, including the player, coach and staff, are excited to visit Indonesia after 31 years," said the head of the Commercial Staff of Arsenal, Tom Fox, on Tuesday.

Arsenal FC will play against the "Indonesia Dream Team" in a friendly match on July 14 at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.

Fox said his committee will send almost half of Arsenal`s core squad members to Indonesia.

"We are committed to taking every player on this tour. Coach Arsene Wenger is looking forward to the pre-season world tour," he said.

The President Director of the MNC Group, Hary Tanoesoedibyo, said he is looking forward to the pre-season world tour.

"We will be honoured to have the Arsenal FC in Indonesia. The last time Arsenal FC visited Indonesia was in 1982," he said.

Meanwhile, the Director of RCTI, Kanti Mirdiati, said it was not easy to convince Arsenal FC to visit Indonesia. RCTI will broadcast Arsenal FC`s tour in Indonesia.

"It was not easy to convince the Arsenal FC in London that Indonesia is safe and that their fans are waiting for them," she said.

Arsenal FC has won the English Premier League Champion 13 times. They won the FA Cup Champion 10 times. In addition, the football club also won the UEFA Cup twice.

Currently, the Arsenal FC is in the 6th grade of the English Premier League with 37 points.
