The vice president said he was received by President Park at South Korean "Cheong Wa De" Presidential Palace for around 75-minute talks.
Seoul (ANTARA News) - Indonesian Vice President Boediono paid a courtesy call to South Korean President Park Geun-hye here on Tuesday in his effort to step up the already good and long-standing bilateral relations between the two countries.

"With President Park, we discussed ways for the two countries to step up cooperation even more in the fields of economy and technology," Boediono told newsmen after the meeting.

The vice president said he was received by President Park at South Korean "Cheong Wa De" Presidential Palace for around 75-minute talks.

He added that with the South Korean head of state, they tried to find out ways to a better cooperation with very good prospect between the two countries.

According to him, the two countries relations in the fields of economy and technology could be stepped up even more.

"Indonesia and South Korea can complete each other in every situation," Boediono said.

The vice president on Monday also met the leader of a South Korean giant company and expressed extended his full support to the country`s investors to increase their investment in Indonesia.

After the meeting with Park, the new South Korean president, Vice President Boediono ended his four-day visit and returned to Jakarta. (*)
