Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono arrived back in the country on Sunday morning from a week-long working visit to Sweden and the United States.

The President accompanied by First Lady Ani Yudhoyono arrived at the city`s Halim Perdanakusuma airport on Sunday at 07.45 a.m. local time by a Garuda Indonesia flight.

Upon arrival, he was greeted by Vice President Boediono, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Coordinating Minister for People`s Welfare Agung Laksono, National Defense Forces (TNI) Chief Admiral Agus Suhartono, National Police Chief General Timur Pradopo and a number of other officials.

The President and entourage paid a working visit in Sweden and the United States from May 27 to June 2.

He visited Sweden for a state visit during which he paid a courtesy call on King Carl XVI Gustav and held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt and Speaker of the Parliament Per Westerberg.

Yudhoyono is the second Indonesian president to visit Sweden after the late president Soekarno on May 3-5, 1959.

While in the United States, Yudhoyono attended the last meeting of High-Level Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post-2015 Development Agenda and submitted the final report of the panel to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in New York.
