The Indonesian head of state in the company of Frist Lady Ani Yudhoyhono officially welcomed 21 economic leaders of APEC at 8.20 am on Monday.
Nusa Dua, Bali (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono greets the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders who will attend the APEC Summit at Sofite Hotel here on Monday.

The Indonesian head of state in the company of Frist Lady Ani Yudhoyhono officially welcomed 21 economic leaders of APEC at 8.20 am on Monday.

The APEC leaders who met with President Yudhoyono were Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, Brunei Darussalam Prime Minister Sultan Hasanah Bolkiah, Chilean President Sebastian Pinera,

Chief Executive of Hong Kong China CY Leung, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, Japanese Prime Minister Sinzo Abe, Peruvian President Ollanta Humala, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Chinese President Xi Jinping, New Zealand Prime Minister John Key, Papua New Guinean Prime Minister Peter Charles Paire O`neill, Philippine President Benigno S Aquino III, Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang, South Korean President Park Geun-hye, and China Taipei representative Vincent Siew, while the United States was represented by Trade Minister Penny Pritzker.

Before attending the summit, the APEC economic leaders are scheduled to first deliver their point of views in the APEC Business Advisory Council.

During the summit, President Yudhoyono will witness the signing of several memorandum of understandings (MoUs) with friendly countries including Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, and Peru.

Besides, Yudhoyono will also have a series of bilateral meetings with among others Russian and Japanese leaders.(*)
