Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Jakarta Metropolitan Police have destroyed 118,874 ecstasy pills seized in recent raids, according to head of the city police`s public relations Snr. Comr. Rikwanto.

"The ecstasy pills were confiscated from three couriers who were arrested a month ago. They came from two different drug trafficking networks," he said here on Wednesday.

The three suspected drug traffickers, identified by their initials as KS, SG and JN, were arrested at different locations in the capital, including Jembatan Gambang Street and Arwana Street in Pejagalan, North Jakarta, and Cyber warehouse in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

With the arrest of the three suspects, the police plan to expose the operations of the drug trafficking networks, he said.
