PT NEC Indonesia (NEC Indonesia), a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd and a market leader in providing total solutions for the Indonesian telecommunications industry, today announced their latest cloud services in cooperation with local partner PT Alita Praya Mitra, to support the provision of “Keeta,” the latest application launched by XL Axiata, Tbk (XL Axiata), one of the leading Telco operators in Indonesia.

Keeta, the latest application launched by XL Axiata, is supported by advanced NEC Cloud Computing services, and an NEC software partner in UK, Private Planet. The “Keeta” application can be utilized as a personal assistant to ease a user’s daily activities. Keeta offers features such as chat and file sharing of photos, music and videos amongst Keeta users. Keeta’s users can organize personal data easily because they are able to synchronize data, contacts, calendars, notes, photos and videos amongst multiple devices, including smartphones and PCs. Keeta is able to remotely access designated devices that have been registered. Keeta also provides cloud data storage.

NEC continuously supports telecommunication operators in developing their network business in Indonesia, which includes the implementation of cloud computing to promote customer services. NEC provides cloud computing services for both company usage and personal usage, as seen from the application, Keeta.
