Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will make an official visit to Indonesia from November 19 to 22, and will be accompanied by a business delegation.

"The visit of the Dutch Prime Minister to Indonesia is a very important event in bilateral relations between Indonesia and the Netherlands. The visit is expected to strengthen the friendship between the two nations and intensify bilateral cooperation," Teuku Faizasyah, the Presidents special staffer for international relations, stated on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Rutte and President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono are scheduled to hold a meeting on Nov. 20 to discuss issues related to bilateral cooperation in various fields and efforts aimed at expanding and deepening the cooperation, he said.

The two leaders are also expected to witness the signing of a number of cooperation agreements between the two countries delegations.

President Yudhoyono will be hosting a state banquet for Prime Minister Rutte, who is also scheduled to attend an Indonesian-Dutch business forum. (*)
