Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to receive Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte at the Merdeka Palace on Wednesday afternoon.

The President will have a tete-a-tete with Rutte at 3:30 p.m., which will be followed by a bilateral meeting between the delegations from the two countries.

During the meeting, several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in various fields are expected to be signed in the presence of the two heads of state/government.

Later in the evening, the President and First Lady Ani Yudhoyono will host a banquet for the Dutch Prime Minister.

According to presidential special staff for international relations Teuku Faizasyah, Rutte is on a four-day visit to Indonesia, which will last till November 22, during which he will meet with President Yudhoyono and attend a business forum.

"The visit to Indonesia by the Dutch Prime Minister is an important moment in the relations between Indonesia and the Netherlands," Teuku stated.

He also expressed hope that the visit would strengthen the two countries bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields.
