The long march activity is held to promote national harmony to the people."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Vice President Boediono on Sunday joined a long march with several ministers and about 100,000 members of religious and community organizations.
The long march started from the National Monument (Monas) area and moved to the protocol Thamrin road, Hotel Indonesia Roundabout and turned back to the National Monument area.
"The long march activity is held to promote national harmony to the people. National harmony is an important factor that determine this nations unity," Religious Affairs Minister Suryadharma Ali said here on Sunday before the long march started.
Surya said Indonesia has reached national harmony although there maybe room for improvements.
