Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) questioned Tubagus Haerul Jaman, the younger brother-in-law of the suspended Banten Governor Ratu Atut Chosiyah, in an alleged bribery case in a regional head election dispute in Banten province.

In a dispute over the election of a regional head in Lebak District in Banten, Ratu Atut allegedly agreed to give a bribe of Rp1 billion to Akil Mochtar, the Constitutional Court chairman, to rule in favor of one of the contestants on the dispute over the results of the election of the Lebak regional head.

Last week, the KPK also summoned film star Catherine Wilson for questioning on the money laundering case against Wawan.

"I will make clarifications first (with the KPK)," Catherine told reporters after she arrived at the KPK office here on Monday.

Catherine was summoned by the anti-graft agency to explain why she had received a car from Wawan.

Wawan has been charged with corruption and money laundering.

The KPK said Wawan had given cars as gifts to a number of film stars and members of the regional legislative assembly. The anti-graft body has investigated two other artists Rebecca Reijman and Jennifer Dunn in the same case.

The KPK has confiscated all of these cars. Altogether, the KPK has confiscated 42 cars, including from Wawans house and companies.

The cars included luxury cars such as Ferrari, Lamborgini Aventador, Bentley Continental, Rolls Royce Flying Spu, Nissan GTR, Toyota Vellfire, Mitsubishi Pajero, Honda CR-V, Mercedes Benz, Mini Cooper, Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Lexus. Other luxury cars included Toyota Innova, BMW, Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Outlander, Ford Fiesta, Nissan Terano, Honda Freed, Isuzu Panther, Toyota Avanza, Suzuki APV and Izusu Panthaer as well as a Harley Davidson motorbike.

KPK spokesman Johan Budi said the KPK has not stopped tracking down the allegedly ill gained assets of Wawan.
