Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will take a two-day leave on March 17-18, 2014, to participate in election campaigns, an official said.

"We have received a letter from the State Secretariat that stated the president will take leave for election campaigns," General Election Commission (KPU)s commissioner, Ferry Kurnia Rizkiyansyah, said here on Wednesday.

He said the head of state will take leave to campaign for the Democratic Party in the Central Java and the East Java electoral regions.

"On March 17, President Yudhoyono will participate in the campaigns at Magelang city and the Magelang district in Central Java and then the next day, on March 18, at the districts of Tulungagung and Blitar in East Java" Ferry added.
