Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named former Health Affairs Minister SFS as suspect in an alleged corruption of medical equipment procurement, the anti-graft body spokesman said.

"Exposure was conducted on issues relating to the procurement of medical supplies in 2005, investigators have found two sufficient items of evidence namely SFS was the Health Affairs Minister and (she) was named a suspect)," KPKs spokesman Johan Budi said here on Friday.

The case involving one of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) members was transferred from police to the KPK.

"This case is the devolution from the Police Headquarters. This case is also associated with some cases ever handled by the KPK regarding medical supplies. The Sprindik (investigation warrant) for SFS was issued on April 3, 2014," Johan stated.
