Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) recorded that 19 issuers have listed bonds including sharia bonds worth Rp17.433 trillion on the BEI so far this year.

BEI said on Thursday the number did not include Sarana Multi Infrastruktur which has listed bonds with a nominal value of Rp1 trillion.

The bond listed by Sarana Multi Infrastruktur included A series with a nominal value of Rp100 billion for three years and B series with a nominal value of Rp900 billion for 5 years.

The Indonesian rating agency PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo) gave the bond a rating of idAA+ (double A plus).

The conventional and sharia bonds listed in 2014, brought the number of bonds including Islamic bonds to 254 issues with a total nominal outstanding value of Rp217.755 trillion and US$100 million by 107 issuers.

Meanwhile, state securities (SBN) listed on the BEI totaled 92 series with a nominal outstanding value of Rp1,111.095 trillion and US$540 million .

There are also five assets backed securities valued at Rp2.142 trillion.

Separately, president director of Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI) Emma Sri Martini said the fund raised form the bond sail would be used to finance a number of infrastructure projects this year.

"This is in line with core business of the company that is to finance infrastructure projects to meet the financing target of Rp5.5 trillion this year, Emma said.

She said demand for the bond was encouraging more than twice oversubscribed.

"That indicate the high confidence of investors in the company. It also showed that investors are interested in infrastructure assets," she added.

Director of Risk Management, Finance and Work Support of the company Nasrizal Nazir said the coupon set for the bond is 9.6 percent for three years and 10 percent for five years.(*)
