I have come here just for relaxing."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The presidential candidate, Joko "Jokowi" Widodo, took a breather from election activities to unwind at the Pluit Reservoir Park while awaiting the official announcement of Indonesias 2014 presidential election by the General Elections Commission (KPU).
"I have come here just for relaxing. You are just disturbing me during my relaxing time," Jokowi stated at the Pluit Reservoir Park in North Jakarta on Tuesday.
Jokowi was seen engaged in a relaxed conversation with the Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla pairs spokesperson, Anies Baswedan. Both were dressed in white shirts and black trousers.
Jokowi affirmed that he needed time to relax.
"We should not keep living too seriously, should we?" he stated.
During his visit to the Pluit Reservoir Park, Jokowi also humorously voiced his thoughts of wanting to play soccer with the kids in the neighborhood.
"Enough, now I want to see water hyacinth," he said, halting the interview with the press.
On the other hand, his presidential rival, Prabowo Subianto, had withdrawn his witness team from the KPU national recap meeting following allegations of a massive and systematic fraud.
"We are not going to stay quiet and let our rights be taken away. We instruct our witnesses who are monitoring the counting process to stop," Prabowo remarked.
During a press conference in his camp, Polonia House, in Jakarta on Tuesday, Prabowo also announced that he rejected the 2014 presidential election.
"We reject the 2014 presidential election, and we are therefore withdrawing from the process. We are not willing to sacrifice the peoples mandate for us," Prabowo emphasized.
