"I accept this defeat. But of course I was a little bit disappointed because in fact I have the chance to move into the final," Tommy was quoted as saying by the PBSI (All Indonesian Badminton Association) Media here on Sunday.
He said that the fight with Chen Long was tight. He missed the good momentum in the first game but in the second game, also tight, he was able to lead in gaining points.
But after Tommy slipped on the badminton court, he began facing unfavorable condition and eventually had to surrender in the second game with a score of 20-22.
