Tehran (ANTARA News/IRNA-OANA) - Iran Daily on Monday wrote that the US, undoubtedly, plays a very effective role in Iran's nuclear energy program issue, and the decade-long dispute can only be resolved if Tehran and Washington settle their disagreements on the matter.

Experts believe that the New York talks will specify America's final stance on Iran's nuclear case, added the English-language paper in its Opinion column.

If the two sides fail to resolve the remaining issues, they will have a tough task before the November 24 deadline for a final agreement.

On one hand, the situation of Democrats in the US shows that the White House badly needs to seal a real deal with Iran. On the other hand, Iran seeks an agreement based on which US and European sanctions would be lifted, it noted.

Therefore, the issue of sanctions is crucial for Iran and seems to be one of the most challenging matters at the negotiating table, believes the daily.

Now the ball is in the US court. The New York meeting is a golden chance to clinch a deal that satisfies all parties involved. Many political observers believe that if Iran and the P5+1 can achieve a significant breakthrough, then a final and comprehensive agreement will be within reach, added the paper.

It appears that the Iranian negotiating team and every single member of the P5+1 determined to reach a 'good deal' and believe that it is possible.

The West is stuck in a quagmire in the Middle East and without Iran, overcoming the challenges it faces in the region seems to be almost unlikely.

Therefore, it is highly anticipated that breaking the nuclear impasse between Iran and the P5+1 would help resolve many issues in the region, concluded the paper.
