Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Musician Iwan Fals met President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo at the presidential office here on Friday to discuss a plan to hold a "Peoples Songs" concert, which is expected to attract four million people.

"Besides congratulating the president, I also discussed my idea to hold a concert with him," Fals told the press.

He stated that he had sent a letter requesting a meeting with Jokowi in December 2014, but it was approved only now.

"I wished to meet him because he had visited me in my home before," he added.

The musician explained that he needed to meet the president because only the government could tell him where he could hold a concert that could accommodate four million people.

After receiving Fals, Jokowi held a meeting with Global CEO of Unilever Paul Polman.

Earlier, the head of state had received Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Taufiequrrahman Ruki and Deputy Chief of the KPK Johan Budi.
