Yamaha Motor showcased its celebrated racing DNA with a lineup of historic roadracers, including the Yamaha RD56 Grand Prix two-stroke and YZR500 (0W23), guided respectively by motorsport legends Phil Read and Giacomo Agostini, and the company's celebrated 2015 model, the YZR-M1 MotoGP.

Nine-time world champion Rossi tackled the iconic 1.16-mile Hillclimb on his specially colored YZR-M1, delighting a crowd of race fans and motor enthusiasts.

Yamaha's debut came at the invitation of Lord March, who founded the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 1993. The event, the latest milestone in Yamaha Motor's 60-year commitment to motorsport, provided the company with an opportune venue for demonstrating its "Revs Your Heart" motto and Japanese-inspired "Kando" philosophy of experiencing thrill when encountering immense value.
