Dikutip dari Oricon, Rabu, "Drive My Car" cukup mendominasi sejumlah kategori termasuk film terbaik, sutradara terbaik, dan pemain pria dan wanita utama terbaik.
Dari kategori animasi, "Belle" harus bersaing dengan sejumlah film anime populer tahun ini termasuk "Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time" dan "JUJUTSU KAISEN 0". Sebelumnya, Animation of the Year dimenangkan oleh "Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train" tahun lalu.
Sebagai informasi, semua film dan mereka yang dinominasikan akan diberikan Award for Excellence, termasuk mereka yang tidak berhasil memenangkan piala utama di masing-masing kategori. Acara ini akan digelar di Tokyo pada 11 Maret.
