Academy Award tahun ini menarik untuk diikuti karena masuknya film Iran berjudul "A Separation"...Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Film tiga dimensi petualangan epik berjudul Hugo, karya sutradara Martin Scorsese, mendapatkan 11 nominasi termasuk nominasi film terbaik dan sutradara terbaik pada ajang Academy Awards.
Sementara itu film The Artist mendapatkan 10 nominasi, termasuk film terbaik, sutradara, aktor dan aktris pendukung.
Para pemenang akan diumumkan tanggal (26 /2) di Los Angeles. Demikian seperti dikutip dari BBC, dipantau terus oleh ANTARA News, di Jakarta, Rabu.
Aktris Maryl Streep memperoleh nominasi Oscar yang ke 17 kalinya dalam lakonnya sebagai Margaret Thatcher.
Sementara itu George Clooney dan Brad Pitt bersaing untuk memperoleh aktor terbaik.
