Lirik lagu "Bohemian Rhapsody", karya legendaris dari Queen

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Siapa yang tak kenal lagu "Bohemian Rhapsody" karya Queen? Lagu tersebut ditulis oleh sang vokalis Freddie Mercury untuk album A Night at the Opera yang dirilis pada 1975.

Kendati lagu itu berdurasi hampir enam menit, namun Bohemian Rhapsody tidak terdengar membosankan karena Queen berhasil meramu lagu itu layaknya sebuah opera.

Bohemian Rhapsody diciptakan tanpa chorus atau reff, namun memiliki intro yang sangat identik. Setelah intro, lagu itu masuk ke segmen ballads yang ringan menggunakan piano, kemudian berubah tempo menjadi rock, dan menjelma opera pada bagian tengahnya. Coda lagu ini dibawakan dengan cara rock progresif yang diiringi lead gitar Brian May, lalu ditutup dengan ballads piano dan vokal dari Freddie Mercury.

Lagu ini menjadi misteri karena tidak ada yang bisa mendefinisikan makna atau arti Bohemian Rhapsody karena Freddie Mercury yang menulis lagu itu pun tak pernah menjelaskan arti di balik lagu tersebut.

Lagu ini kembali meledak di pasaran setelah dirilisnya film Bohemian Rhapsody pada tahun 2018. Film yang dibintangi Rami Malek sebagai Freddie Mercury itu mengisahkan perjalanan Queen serta kehidupan pribadi Freddie Mercury hingga konser legendaris Live Aid di Stadion Wembley.
