We hope the event would be able to boost the love for Indonesia ..."Beijing (ANTARA News)) - Several students grouped in the Indonesian Students Association of the Guangxi Normal University (Himignu) will promote the culture of East Java in Guilin, China, on May 20, 2017.
"At the Indonesia Cultural Festival (FKI) in Guilin recently this year, we will also promote the culture of East Java," Rivka Ainunnisa, the festival committees chairperson, remarked here on Tuesday.
According to Ainunnisa, Himignu and the Indonesian Students Association in China have held the Indonesia Cultural Festival for six consecutive years to promote the diversity of cultures in Indonesia to Chinese communities and foreign students from different countries.
At the festival themed "Wonderful East Java" to be held at the Guangxi Normal University in Guilin on May 20, Indonesian students will also promote various typical culinary delights of East Java.
"We hope the event would be able to boost the love for Indonesia, preserve the arts and culture of the country, and foster friendship between nations," she added.
