Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak affirmed that Indonesia is very important and therefore he has visited the country five times on various occasions during 2013.
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has stated that the cooperation between Indonesia and Malaysia has continued to increase and has the potential to expand further.

"Our cooperation and partnership has improved year on year. We often do not realize that we have achieved a lot. We should maintain this momentum so that it further improves in the future," stated Yudhoyono in his opening remarks of the bilateral meeting between the Indonesian and Malaysian delegations at Merdeka Palace, here on Thursday.

He added that the bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism and education should be further intensified based on mutual benefit.

President Yudhoyono and Prime Minister Razak held a bilateral meeting on Thursday morning.

Among Indonesian ministers attending the meeting were Coordinating Minister for Political and Legal, Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa, Coordinating Minister for Peoples Welfare Agung Laksono, Defense Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro, Home Affairs Minister Gamawan Fauzi, National Police Chief General Sutarman, and Chief of the Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) General Moeldoko.(*)
